Heatherdale Cavies is a small caviary, located in Henrietta, NY just outside of Rochester. I've specialized in raising and showing quality teddy cavies since 2001. My goal is to produce healthy, happy animals that do well both on the show table and in a loving home. Teddies have wonderful loving personalities and are a joy to own and raise. Each new litter brings the hope and promise of breeding and raising better pigs.

I raise Teddies in Broken, Self and Agouti varieties. Thanks go out to Val Horning, Mare Robinson, Jaylene Dixon, Alaina Holstege and Barb Kurzowski for getting me started with quality stock.

In 2005 I was able to purchase some great texel breeding stock from Lisa Shepard in California, Mildred Bader in Arizona and Heather McLane in New York to start my program. Working with this breed is challenging (they are very different in personality from teddies). Even so, it is rewarding and I have been fortunate along the way to have many great breeders help me. Thanks go out to Jen Bykowicz, Kathy Edie, and Kirstin Campbell for helping me succeed with these gorgeous animals. I specialize in broken colors, tortoise shell and white and an occasional Dutch marked.

When I'm not busy with my animals and traveling to shows, I'm busy in my gardens. Please enjoy a walk through Heatherdale Gardens. Everything you see is on my property and has been lovingly cared for by me.
